Compxcel is a web-based compensation tool created by my team as our Senior Project as Drexel University.
Imagine you are the HR department of a small to mid-sized company working on updating employees’ salary, bonus, and equity amounts for the next year. Now imagine you are completing all of this by sending an Excel workbook to each manager with their employees’ data, asking for their recommendation, and then combine it in to one workbook to be shared with leadership.
Compxcel gives small and midsized businesses a web-based compensation management tool to complete their yearly compensation management process. The solution gives a familiar interface, based on a spreadsheet, with features found in compensation management software aimed at enterprise customers. Through having one central source of truth, features such as version control, auditing, reporting, and approvals can be implemented while keeping many of the company’s current processes in place.
